This watch is beautiful original condition with only very slight wear; it has hardly been worn since it was made in 1987. Very important the watch comes with the ORIGINAL Certificat d'origine stating that it was originally bought in April 1987. If you look at most other examples they don't have the original Certificat. Most important the case has never been re-finished. The bracelet is unpolished and never been re-finished. THE NAUTILUS The Patek Philippe reference 3800/1 was introduced to the market in the early 1980s and has a production run until 2006. Gerald Genta designed the Nautilus in the 1970's; it is an recognisable iconic model that looks fantastic on the wrist, it's very dressy-looking, and it's also incredibly comfortable to wear. It's big brother, the Nautilus Jumbo 3700, is the larger version, which now regularly sells at auction for over £50,000. |
